Amanda Stenback

Amanda is a culture scientist and podcaster of the nerd and RPG variety. She started her career in the female separatist nerd-talk podcast I Am No Man Podcast, but is now mainly known for her presence in the Swedish actual-play RPG scene, where she’s participated in most of the big podcasts, and is since last year a member of Sweden Rolls. She is an openly queer, neurodivergent nerd who takes every opportunity she gets to prattle on about superheroes, RPG systems, neurodivergence and disabilities, monsters and LGBTQ questions into any microphone she’ll find.

Anna Kärrstrand

Anna Kärrstrand has been on boards, run e-sports tournaments, modded giant forums and been published as a journalist by Blizzard, all while a minimum 7 hours of screentime has been given to social media. After she no longer needed to market herself (and stopped entertaining herself with meme accounts and sockpuppets), her time online has been a lot calmer and more personal – but not entirely without consequences.
Chris Jonasson

A Queer Nerd Elder who is currently using their unemployment to host three rpg campaigns while casually enjoying videogames. Initiated Proud & Nerdy, started several esports organisations on local, national and international level and still dreams of making a large GX (GaymerX) style convention in Sweden.

Emil Åkerö
(Pronoun: he)
Emil Åkerö is the world’s worst nerd who doesn’t remember any details whatsoever. Aside from that, he’s a writer who hates writing but loves to have written. Among other things, he’s written a book about how adolescents aren’t having enough sex: The Slut’s Demise – A deep-dive into the sexual recession.
Erland Nylund

Scientist by day, organizer in his spare time. Primarily LARPer and roleplayer, Erland has after many years in Sverok and Studiefrämjandet done most nerdy hobbies. He helped organize the first QueerCon, and is now chairperson of the organization QueerNördarna.

Gabrielle de Bourg
(Pronoun: she)
Gabrielle de Bourg is a film scholar, RPG creator and pop culture expert. She’s previously been chairperson of QueerNördarna and was in 2019 awarded “Gamer of the year” by Sverok for her work to lift up LGBTQ+ in gaming culture. Right now she writes and speaks a lot about trendspotting online.
Isabella Morgonro

Hi I’m here because Erland tricked me. I was first a moderator for QueerCon in 2020 and 2021, joined the board as it was a bit empty and am now since 5 years back active in the Stockholm board.
Liam Hållams (Nastyimmortal)
(Pronoun: he)
Liam Hållams, known as Nastyimmortal online, has been cosplaying for more than 15 years and is Nathaniel’s husband, workshop assistant, cosplay partner, and actor and dancer for DanceStuck. In his role holding workshops and lectures he’s focused on equality and LGBTQ+ inclusivity, and as an actor he plays all kinds of roles, characters and identities faithfully. Through his work he focuses greatly on everyone’s safety and ability to feel welcome regardless of identity and background when they start out cosplaying.
Linnea Risinger Nathansson

Linnea is one of the most experienced queer-nerd activists in Sweden, possibly the world! She was in the early stages of Sverok’s work for LGBTQ inclusivity, was a driving force behind Falu Pride, and helped out with hype and help when the very first QueerCon was being organized. Today he works with organizational development at RFSL, but still indulges in a lot of nerd hobbies.

Lukas Renklint

Lukas is a queer LARPer and LARP pedagogue, who has filled their bookshelves with LGBTQIA+ history. Queer themes are the most consistently recurring in all of their creations, and they’re passionate about lifting up stories that have been hidden away.
Nathaniel Karlsson (Faeloquent)
(Pronoun: he)
Nathaniel Karlsson, known as Faeloquent online, has cosplayed for more than 15 years with competitions, official shows, judging, organizing, lecturing and holding workshops, and is one of two founders of the cosplay-related dance and theatre troupe DanceStuck. In his role when leading lectures and workshops he is focused on equality, LGBTQ+ inclusivity, and everyone’s right to cosplay whoever they want.
Rebecka Winter
(Pronoun: she)
Rebecka is a nerd with a lot of interests. With everything from cosplay, miniature gaming, film and vampires, Rebecka has tried out most things at some point. As self-proclaimed vampire expert, she’s read many books on the subject, has several vampire tattoos, and over 100 different vampire movies in her collection. With such a special interest for vampires, it’s hard to find someone more qualified to talk about her subject of gay vampires.
Robin Serrander
(Pronoun: he)
Robin started out cosplaying in 2007 and has held lectures about the association between cosplay and trans/genderqueer identities all over Sweden and the Nordic countries since 2013. Cosplay was a decisive part of his own process of self exploration. Both through the YouTube channel The Mischief Managers (2014-2021) and as former head of nondiscrimination at NärCon (2015), he’s been working for LGBTQ+ people’s visibility and safety both at conventions and online.
Signe Krantz
Writer, nerd and connoisseur of lowbrow culture. Chairperson for Transammans. Signe organized the first QueerCon in Stockholm and was the driving force behind creating the organization QueerNördarna.
Siri Sandquist

Siri works with developing popular education within gaming culture (among other things) at Studiefrämjandet, and organizes LARPs in her free time. She has plenty of experience organizing nerdy events and thinks that QueerCon is the most fun thing you can do at work.
